Stay Safe in Summer

Summer is fun. But too much heat or sun is unhealthy. Here are some tips for staying safe.
Apply sunscreen.
The sun’s rays are strong. They can burn your skin. Sunscreen (above) can block those rays.
Drink water.

Sweating cools you down. But it uses water from your body. So drink up!
Seek shade.

It is cooler in the shade. Take breaks from the sun. Sit under an umbrella or a leafy tree.
Wear protective clothing.

Hats and sunglasses can block the sun. Loose clothing can keep you cooler. Light colors can too.
