Ripe for Picking

Each season has its fruits and vegetables. Here are four items that are picked in the fall.
Apples
Fall is apple season. You can pick your own at an orchard (above).
Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes grow in the ground. They are dug up in fall.
Cranberries

Cranberries are tart, or sour. They turn red in fall. Then they are ready to be harvested.
Green Beans

Green beans grow on vines. They must be picked before it gets too cold.
