Bats
Bats make a high-pitched sound. It bounces off cave walls. Bats use the echoes to find their way in the dark.
Blind Cave Fish
Blind cave fish have no eyes. They feel vibrations in the water. This helps them know where to go.
Glowworms
Are these stars? No. They are glowworms. The animals make their own light. This is called bioluminescence.
Olms
Olms are cave salamanders. They do not see well. But their other senses are strong. They can survive many years without food.
