Trolls on a Roll
Poppy, Branch, and the gang are back, in Trolls Band Together, which hit theaters on November 17. In this third Trolls movie, Poppy and her boyfriend, Branch, team up with his old boy band to save his brother Floyd. The movie has the same wackiness as ever, with a bunch of new characters.
Walt Dohrn directed the movie. “As far as the design goes, we have a list of ingredients of who we think these characters are,” he told TIME for Kids. For instance, Branch’s brother Spruce likes to surf. The creative team styled his hair to look like a wave.
Fans will find a lot to enjoy. “There’s something really exciting about being able to tell a different chapter of Branch and Poppy’s story,” Dohrn says. “We get to see them grow.”
