What is your business, and how does it help the community?

My business is Treasures by Taylor, an online jewelry store I started in 2022. I design and market vibrant bracelets in a variety of colors and styles. I give 10% of my sales to my charitable organization, Taylor’s Treasures. It’s dedicated to helping people in our community who are underserved or homeless.

What skills have you learned?

My business has given me a sense of achievement: knowing that I’m earning money, but also fulfilling needs in the community. I’ve learned financial skills such as planning, budgeting, and saving. I’ve also acquired important communication skills.

What advice do you have for kids who want to give back?

Everyone can help, regardless of age or other factors. It doesn’t need to be an enormous undertaking. Everyone benefits from the small steps you take.
