Clark’s Year
Caitlin Clark has been named TIME’s 2024 Athlete of the Year. The professional basketballer plays for the Indiana Fever and was last season’s WNBA Rookie of the Year. She’s only 22, but Clark has already made an impact on women’s sports. More people are watching WNBA games than ever before. “I’m just scratching the surface of what I can do,” Clark told TIME’s Sean Gregory.
