This image from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope shows a region of clouds called Rho Ophiuchi. The clouds are made of gas and dust. Stars are being born here. Some are as massive as our sun. Rho Ophiuchi is 390 light-years from Earth. It’s our closest star-forming region. The Webb is the largest telescope in space. It has been sending back spectacular images since its mission began, a year and a half ago.
