What's Needed?
Journalists can help their communities through their work. They can report on local service efforts, which can inspire people to make donations or volunteer. Journalists can also look for a story that has been underreported, such as a small community in need of help after a big storm. This type of story can generate awareness and support.
Junior Journalists, we want to know: What’s needed? Ask others what issues in your community need more awareness. What can you and those around you do to help? Ask a teacher, parent, or guardian to send us your submission at timeforkids.com/tfkpressclub or tfkpressclub@time.com.
