Who Inspires You?
In April, TIME released its list of the 100 most influential people of the year. These individuals include leaders across a variety of fields. All are working for a better future. Some 2023 honorees include author Judy Blume, athlete Mikaela Shiffrin, and popular Youtuber MrBeast. TIME includes short articles about each person, written by someone who knows them well or admires their work. For example, First Lady Jill Biden wrote about Olena Zelenska, the First Lady of Ukraine.
Junior Journalists, we want to know: Who inspires you? Are there important figures in the news you would highlight? Do they fit into a particular category on the TIME list, like artist, innovator, or pioneer” What makes this person influential? For bonus points, who do you think should write about this person?
