Mountain Lion Shift

Mountain lions in Los Angeles, California, are becoming more nocturnal. The shift helps them keep away from people. This is according to a study published in Biological Conservation last month. Seth Riley is a wildlife ecologist. These mountain lions exist “in one of the largest urban areas in the world,” he said in a statement. “That would not be possible if mountain lions weren’t able to adjust to human activity in ways like this.”
