Sworn In

On January 20, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States. This is Trump’s second term. He also served as president from 2017 to 2021.
The inauguration took place in Washington, D.C. It was scheduled to happen outside. But the weather was very cold. So it was held inside the U.S. Capitol building.
Trump was sworn in just after noon. He said the oath of office with his wife, Melania, by his side. J.D. Vance was sworn in as vice president.

J.D. Vance is also sworn in on January 20, as the country’s new vice president.
