When people need an item, they can shop for it at a store. Some ways to shop are better for the environment. Here are a few suggestions.

Buy used.

Shop at a store that sells used items (above). You can give an old item new purpose. It prevents things from becoming trash. And it might cost less.

Shop local.

Shipping items uses resources. Craft fairs sell items that were made nearby. Would you like to own something made by a neighbor?

Bring bags.
