This colorful creature is a rose-veiled fairy wrasse. The species is new to science. It was described in a recent issue of the journal ZooKeys. The fish is found in the Maldives. That’s a small island nation. It’s in the Indian Ocean. The rainbow-colored fish grows to about three inches long. It lives at an ocean depth known as the twilight zone.
