What's Your Business Story?

One topic journalists often cover is business. Business stories keep people up-to-date on important economic changes and the actions of national and international companies. These stories can help people make financial decisions, and they can help consumers make choices. Business stories can also be local, focusing on news that matters to a particular community. For example, a business story in the local news might announce the opening of a store. Or it might spotlight a small-business owner who has been serving the community for many years.

Junior Journalists, we want to know: What’s your business story? Is there a business that’s important to your neighborhood? Has a new store or company opened that could affect your community? What should people know about these businesses? Ask a teacher, parent, or guardian to send your story to us at timeforkids.com/tfkpressclub or tfkpressclub@time.com.
