The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is not just for purebred pups. Mixed-breed dogs can compete in WKC’s Masters Agility competition. In this contest, dogs run an obstacle course. They are timed. Meet two pups who took part in this year’s competition.

Nimble

Nimble (above) is a border collie–papillon mix. She is the first mixed-breed dog ever to win the WKC agility contest. Nimble raced through the course in less than 29 seconds. That is fast! “She really, truly is an amazing dog,” says her handler, Cynthia Hornor. “She did an amazing job and wowed the crowd.”

Miles is a rescue dog. He is a mix of several breeds. Christine Longnecker adopted him from an animal shelter in Kentucky. Miles did not win a prize. But he won hearts. Some dog lovers “were calling him the people’s champion,” Longnecker told TIME for Kids.
